New Staff Reaffirms Kasim Hill's Offer

One of the top quarterbacks in the 2017 class remains interested in Syracuse

The first offer for elite 2017 Baltimore (Md.) Gillman quarterback Kasim Hill was Syracuse back before he even took a varsity snap. He camped with the Orange and the Scott Shafer staff extended the offer.

The Dino Babers staff has been on the road and checking out some 2017 prospects in the midst of their 2016 recruiting. One player assistant Reno Ferri visited was Hill, and reaffirmed the offer.

"They have offered me and I have talked to them," Hill said. "They said they like the way I play and their offense is QB friendly."

Hill says he remains "very interested" in Syracuse and is looking to set up a visit soon. He says he will definitely take a visit something this winter/spring in order to get to know the new staff better and see the campus once again.

Hill also has offers from Boston College, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Penn State and Iowa among others.
