SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Class of 2017 five-star Hamidou Diallo will unofficially visit Syracuse on February 27th for the NC State-SU game, a source told CuseNation.com. Mike Waters of Syracuse.com was first to report the news.
Diallo is a 6-foot-5, 180-pound shooting guard out of Putnam Science Academy (CT). Hamidou is a terrific athlete with a natural ability to score. The junior is categorized as a streaky shooter at times, but has the skill set to become one of the best scorers in the 2017 class
Aside from visiting Syracuse on the 27th, Diallo will visit Maryland on February 21st.
The same source told CuseNation.com that the Orange are among three schools working the hardest for the elite prospect, along with Maryland and Connecticut.
