Syracuse Offers Three 4-Star Prospects in the 2017 Class

Syracuse has offered a trio of elite prospects in the 2017 class. Details inside.

The Syracuse Orange sent out several offers to 2017 prospects on Thursday. Three of them were some of the best players in the entire class.

C.J. Holmes is an elite athlete who can play running back, wide receiver or defensive back. He has speed, elusiveness and big playmaking ability. Holmes said of Syracuse, "Great academics, solid football. Safe to say Cuse Nation is a possibilty."

His teammate is four-star wide receiver Tarik Black. Black was offered by the old staff, but the new staff reaffirmed the offer Thursday. Nick Monroe is his primary recruiter. Black has offers from some of the best in college football. He is rated as the 16th best wide receiver in the class and 114th best player overall.

Out on the West Coast, four-star corner Deommodore Lenoir snagged an offer from the Orange. Syracuse was able to grab one player from California in 2016 and are looking to do more in 2017. Lenoir told CuseNation.com that he is very interested in Syracuse and he will make his way to Central New York for a visit this spring.
