SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Former Syracuse Orange teammates Eric Devendorf and Terrence Roberts have signed professional contracts to play with the Super City Rangers in New Zealand, according to Mike Waters of Syracuse.com.
Roberts confirmed the news via text message.
The two were teammates for two seasons at Syracuse. Roberts was on the hill from 2003-2007, while Devendorf was at SU from 2005-2009.
Devendorf and Roberts were also teammates last summer on Boeheim's Army in The Basketball Tournament.
Both have battled injuries over the years, which have affected their professional careers. Devendorf has battled back issues while Roberts has battled knee issues.
Devendorf last played in March of 2014, while Roberts last played in 2012, according to Waters.
