Jeramie Simmons enjoys visit, puts Orange in top 3

2017 TE Jeramie Simmons enjoys Syracuse visit.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Jeramie Simmons, a class of 2017 tight end, visited Syracuse today.

"The visit was great," he told CuseNation.com. "I loved the academic center and the facilities."

Simmons had a chance to attend the NC State-Syracuse basketball game, which the Orange won, 75-66. "The Carrier Dome was nice. The basketball game was great," he said via text message. "It was a really good time."

Jeramie was able to talk with SU's new tight end coach Reno Ferri a little bit, but that was about it.

"They talked about the offense a lot. I'm not sure how interested they are in me, so we'll see."

Even if Simmons isn't sure on SU's interest, he sure is interested in them. "They're definietly in my top 3 after I saw they had over 20 student athletes with a 3.0 or higher. That's where I want to be," he said.

"I'm really interested in the school and the coaching staff. It was an awesome visit."
