Jamal Beaty enjoys visit, looks forward to recruitment

Class of 2017 OL Jamaal Beaty enjoys visit, looks forward to recruitment.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Class of 2017 offensive lineman Jamaal Beaty had a "good" visit to Syracuse on Saturday, and enjoys what the future will hold in his recruitment.

"The visit was good. I didn't end up going to the basketball game because my friend's mom had to work," Beaty said via text message.

"The facilities were really nice. All of their indoor facilities give players a chance to play inside, which is important in that weather. That's a different feel, but their facilities give players a chance to be great, which I love."

Beaty had a chane to talk with coach Reynolds and coach Lewis, which he said went very well.

"They both said I was a great player and this was the start of recruiting. They'll both be in touch a lot, which I look forward to a lot."

As for where the Orange stand, "Syracuse stands high but I don't have an offer. So, I gotta see, and if they offer me, I will look mor einto the school. I like it a lot, but the offer will make me more interested."

Beaty said the staff did not discuss an offer on the visit.
