2017 QB CJ Lewis discusses Syracuse visit

CJ Lewis loved his Syracuse visit.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Class of 2017 quarterback C.J. Lewis visited Syracuse on Saturday for Junior Day.

"The visit went great! Everything was great! The indoor practie facilities and the locker room were really nice," he said. "We really didn't tour the whole campus, but from what I saw I liked it."

Lewis attended the NC State-Syracuse game, where he was shown a lot of love by the students. "The fans were pretty crazy! They were cool. Once they saw the recruiting lanyard around your neck they made sure they acknowledged you," he told CuseNation.com.

Lewis had a chance to talk with coach Babers, coach Lewis and "the swag OG coach Monroe" during his visit. "They seemed really intersted in me. When I talked to him, he said that he and the whole staff watched my film yesterday and there was no doubt I can ball," he said via text message. "He said he just needs a way to see me throw live and we can really get the ball rolling on things. The QB he describes in his offensive is exactly what I can be."

Syracuse left a great impression on Lewis, but he wasn't ready to name any favorites.

"I don't really know. All these schools I'm visiting and are interested in, I want to visit again to get 1-on-1 action to really see who's gonna give me the best opportunity to strive at their university. But after today, I can say Syracuse is a school I will be looking at closely!"
