To go along with the Syracuse visit, Solt received his third offer in two weeks from the Orange.

After visiting Syracuse Saturday, Ryan Solt came away with his third offer in two weeks.

Entering his junior season, Ryan Solt had only received one Division I offer. In the past two weeks, he's gotten three. To go along with offers from Army and Rutgers, Solt was pulled into Dino Babers office during a visit Saturday to be given the news.

"They told me they wanted to offer me a scholarship, and that was just great," Solt said. "They really like me and want me to set up another visit."

The interest is mutual, with Solt saying the Orange shot way up his list with the offer.

"I would say my interest in Syracuse is very high now," he said. "I don't have a top three or anything right now, but they are up there at the top."

He said in the short time he spoke with Babers, he could tell a lot about him and the future of the program.

"They are going to go a long way with Coach Dino," the 2017 offensive lineman said. "It wasn't like a meeting, it was like we were just talking."

And after watching Syracuse take on NC State in the Carrier Dome Saturday afternoon, he said he could imagine himself on the field.

"The Dome was awesome! They reminded me it was only half full," he said. "I can't even imagine the atmosphere when its full. The fans were awesome!"

Solt said he wants to set up an official visit in the coming weeks now that he has the scholarship offer in place.
