Dino Babers high paced offense depends a lot on fast wide receivers that can catch the ball and move downfield. Eric Chenault thinks he could be someone that helps that attack. After his visit Saturday, he hopes he can have the chance.
"It went great," Chenault said of his visit. "I like the facilites and the academics. The atmosphere was great."
He spent the day with defensive coaches, but said they told him the entire staff was impressed by him. But they want to see him step it up this year.
"They realy like how I play and they are interested in me," he said. "They want to see my 40 and shuttle times, but they said they like me a lot."
Chenault said he wants to show them he can get better and he's willing to put in the work. That showed when he said what his favorite part of the tour was.
"I loved it when they said we could access the facilities and the weight room whenever we want," the 2018 wide receiver said.
"They've been one of my top schools for a while now. I'm very interested in Syracuse.null
