Three-star Hialeah Gardens (Fla.) Mater Academy wide receiver Shimoore Stern wants to visit Syracuse as soon as possible. That trip was supposed to happen this week, but he had to reschedule due to miscommunication between him and his coach. Despite that, he is very high on the Orange.
"I was really excited to go up there," Stern said. "To be honest, Syracuse is one of my favorite schools right now. They show a lot of love and the program is a good fit for me because it's in the ACC and they pass the ball a lot."
Stern is a bigger receiver at 6-foot-4, but is a freakish athlete. That is why he already holds offers from NC State, Louisville and Kentucky in addition to the Orange. He recently visited Georgia as well.
Stern speaks with his primary recruiter at Syracuse, Nick Monroe, on a regular basis.
"We talk a lot actually," he said. "He wants me to be at Cuse. I really like him and the relationship is fantastic."
When the talented wideout does visit Syracuse, he wants to see more information about Dino Babers offense an their plan to use him within that system, how the coaches coach and other aspects of the program.
That trip will likely go a long way in determining where Syracuse stands with Stern. For now, he has the Orange high on his list.
