Four-star Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas inside linebacker Tyler Dunninghas trimmed his list to five, and the Syracuse Orange has made the cut. Joining Syracuse in Dunning’s top five are Kentucky, Tennessee, LSU and Arkansas.
Syracuse is the only non-SEC team on the list. Dunning trimmed Cincinnati, FAU, FIU, Pittsburgh and Miami from his list.
Dunning is listed at 6-foot-0.5, 217-pounds. He is ranked the 14th best inside linebacker in the 2017 class, 7th best in the South and 2nd best in the talent-rich state of Florida.
“Me and (coach) Monroe have a good relationship,” Dunning told CuseNation.com of Syracuse’s inclusion on his list.
The four-star talent added that he plans to visit Syracuse in the fall.
