Syracuse Basketball Recruiting Reset: 2018 takes a look at the 2018 recruiting cycle and who Syracuse is still targeting.

As of the class of 2018 recruiting cycle winds down, takes a look at each remaining prospect. Where does Syracuse stand with each? How many spots are left and who are some names to watch as summer approaches?

Simi Shittu - 6-foot-10 - power forward - Sophomore at Montverde Academy

List of schools: Baylor, Illinois, Kansas State, Notre Dame, Oregon, Syracuse, Virginia Tech

Thoughts: Shittu plays for Monteverde Academy in Florida, which is arguably the best high school program in the country. Its most notable alum in the past few years is projected 2016 lottery pick Ben Simmons of LSU.

Shittu has good athleticism and mobility. He's a fluid runner and gets up and down the court with ease and purpose. Shittu has a good set of hands and solid touch around the basket. Offensively, he likes to the face the rim and attack from the high post and is a very good rebounder.

Syracuse is one of the first major programs to offer him, which could go a long ways. He runs with CIA Bounce in the Nike EYBL circuit, and the Orange has a very good relationship with the program. All good signs moving forward.

You can check out highlights of Shittu in the video at the top of the page.

Nazreon Reid - 6-foot-9 - power forward - Sophomore at Roselle Catholic

List of schools: Iowa, Kansas, Louisville, Maryland, NC State, Rutgers, Seton Hall, Syracuse, St. John's, Villanova, Kentucky

Thoughts: Reid is arguably the best player in the class of 2018, and is a consensus top 10 player. He could play either the four or five at Syracuse, if he chooses then-Mike Hopkins' program.

Reid is a native of New Jersey and attends Roselle Catholic, another good pipeline for the Orange. He's extremely athletic, plays above the rim and could be the best rebounder in the class of 2018 when it's all said and done. His offensive game is coming along. He's very good around the rim, and is improving his mid-range game. He can hit the occasional 3-pointer. His 7-foot-1 wingspan in the zone would be extremely effective.

Louis King - 6-foot-6 - small forward - Sophomore at Hudson Catholic

List of schools: Kansas, Kansas State, Rutgers, Seton Hall, St. John's, Syracuse, North Carolina, SMU, Maryland

Thoughts: King, who is a former teammate of Naz Reid's at Roselle Catholic, transferred to Hudson Catholic halfway through the 2015-16 season. He'll be attending his third school in as many years.

King is listed anywhere from 6-foot-6 to 6-foot-8, and has a tremendous leaping ability. Syracuse extended an offer roughly a year ago this week. The Orange offered King while he was on junior varsity -- before he even played a minute of varsity basketball.
