SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- After missing out on Grant Mullins, Syracuse is moving on rather quickly.
Michigan grad transfer Spike Albrecht will visit Syracuse this Sunday, he tells CuseNation.com.
"The visit is tentatively scheduled for this Sunday," he said via text message.
The Orange hasn't offered, but Spike expects it to happen this weekend, he said.
As of right now, assuming Malachi Richardson doesn't return for his sophomore season, Syracuse will have two scholarship guards - Frank Howard and incoming freshman Tyus Battle. Landing another guard before the 2016-17 season is a must, and Spike might be that guy.
Albrecht is reportedly down to Syracuse, USC, Milwaukee, Wichita State, Texas A&M, Purdue and Indiana.
