SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Class of 2017 small forward Jordan Tucker was one of many high profile recruits on the Syracuse University campus this past weekend. CuseNation.com caught up with the elite forward on how the visit went.
"It was a great visit," Jordan said. "I enjoyed myself a lot."
The four-star prospect said he hung out with Malachi Richardson and Frank Howard most of the weekend. As for recruits, he was with AAU teammate Hamidou Diallo and friend Quade Green.
"I'm one of the priorities for them in the 2017 class. I fit their system perfectly," he said Monday night.
Tucker is a high energy, athletic wing that has the ability to create his own shot. Whether that's hitting a 25-footer or getting to the basket, Tucker can do it all. He runs the floor extremely well, and his up-tempo style of play fits the SU system well.
As for his future, Jordan wasn't ready to name any favorites, but said, "Syracuse will definitely be on my list until the end."
During the visit, Tucker told CuseNation.com he was having a great time and was loving everything about the school - all very good signs for Syracuse.
"I would use an official visit at Syracuse," he said. "I like them a lot."
Jordan plans on visiting Villanova and Maryland later this month, he tells Scout.
