SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- According to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, former Syracuse center Chinonso Obokoh will transfer to St. Bonaventure.

Obokoh confirmed the news later via an Instagram post.

Obokoh, a Bishop Kearney High School (Rochester, NY) graduate, committed to Syracuse back in October of 2012. He averaged 1.1 points and 1.6 rebounds per game last year coming off the bench for the Orange. The 6-foot-9 Nigeria native played 67 total minutes in 11 games.

Chino will be eligible immediately for one season, and could have another depending on his appeal to the NCAA regarding his freshman year at Syracuse.
