Three-star in-state outside linebacker Isaiah McDuffie announced his decision to decommit from Syracuse on Tuesday. The Bennett High standout was the first player to commit to the Orange in the 2017 class, but did so to a staff that is no longer in place.
He visited the new staff in February, but since then, there has been minimal communication according to sources. In fact, Syracuse did not visit him at his school during the evaluation period. Both sides have decided it was not the right fit and have gone in different directions.

McDuffie has had plenty of other suitors, however, including ACC rivals Boston College and Pittsburgh. The Eagles appear to be the front runner for his services.
