SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Class of 2017 four-star forward Andre Rafus has officially cut his list to 15 schools.
Rafus now lists NC State, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Seton Hall, TCU, Kansas, USC, Butler, UCLA, Rutgers, Connecticut, Georgetown, St. John's, Arizona State and Kentucky as his final 15 schools, according to his Twitter account.
The Orange never offered the 6-foot-8 forward a scholarship, but was actively recruiting him for months. SU assistant coach Adrian Autry had visited with Rafus multiple times and he even attended the Elite Camp last August.
The four-star told CuseNation.com multiple times he had high interest in Syracuse and wanted to visit, but the staff didn’t seem to be all that interested in the end.
The 2017 class will be Jim Boeheim's final class, if he sticks to the 3-year plan announced last year. The Orange is after many top prospects in the class, including Quade Green, Hamidou Diallo, Jordan Tucker, Nick Richards, Mohamed Bamba, among others.
Rafus currently does not have any official visits scheduled.
