SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- As of Wednesday morning at 12 a.m., college coaches were able to directly contact class of 2018 prospects. Syracuse wasted little time in jumping on some elite prospects.
The big news from the Orange coaching staff came when Cameron Reddish, a class of 2018 five-star, announced he had received an offer from Syracuse.
Reddish has told CuseNation.com multiple times he has high interest in the Orange, and has even visited a few times already. He was on campus for Orange Madness in 2014 and 2015, and had been hoping for an offer for quite some time.
Scout.com lists Reddish as the sixth best player in the class and the second best small forward. He has told CuseNation.com he can play combo-guard or small forward, whichever is preferred by the coaching staff.
Reddish also has offers from Connecticut, Kentucky, Penn State, Duke, Villanova, Miami, Alabama, among others.
Being a 2018 prospect, Cam's recruitment is far from over. However, Syracuse is in very good position early as Reddish's interest continues to grow in what will be Mike Hopkins' program when he reaches college.
