SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse forward Malachi Richardson will attend the 2016 NBA draft in Brooklyn on Thursday.
The draft will take place at the Barclays Center beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPN, with the first pick announcement at roughly 7:30 p.m.
Along with Richardson, here is a list of the players that will be attending: Wade Baldwin, Dragan Bender, Jaylen Brown, Marquese Chriss, Deyonta Davis, Kris Dunn, Henry Ellenson, Buddy Hield, Brandon Ingram, Skal Labissiere, Dejounte Murray, Jamal Murray, Jakob Poeltl, Damantas Sabonis and Ben Simmons, according to The Vertical.
Over the last few weeks, Richardson has skyrocketed through draft boards. He is currently being projected to go 17th overall to Memphis, according to DraftExpress. The Grizzles have been urging Richardson to shut down his workouts after promising a first-round guarantee, according to Yahoo! Sports.
With his invitation to the draft, all signs are pointing to Richardson being a late lottery pick to mid-first round.
