Several Pursuing Grad Transfer Andrew White

Nebraska graduate transfer Andrew White has already checked out Syracuse and several others are working hard to get him to visit as well.

Nebraska graduate transfer Andrew White visited Syracuse at the end of June into early July. Several other schools are looking to get a visit as well.

Scout national recruiting analyst Evan Daniels is reporting that Miami, Pittsburgh, Louisville, Michigan State, USC, UConn and Texas are pushing to get White to visit their respective campuses. Daniels says VCU is also in the mix.

According to Daniels, that list is not his final list, but simply which schools are pursuing at this time.

A time frame for White's decision is not known at this time.

Previously, Louisville head coach Rick Pitino told Scout's Jody Demling that they were not likely to add another player to the roster for the upcoming season.

White averaged over 16 points per game at Nebraska last season to go along with six rebounds. He shot over 41% from beyond the three-point arc. At 6-foot-7, his combination of length, experience and shooting makes him a coveted prospect. The addition of White to the Syracuse roster would make them an instant Final Four contender.

Syracuse remains among those recruiting White the hardest and is in constant communication.
