Four Syracuse basketball targets named to USA Basketball U18 team

Four Syracuse basketball targets made the U18 USA Basketball squad. Details inside:

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- On Tuesday night, USA Basketball announced its 12-man U18 team for the FIBA Americas Championship in Valdivia, Chile. It will take place on July 13-17. 

Mohamed BambaMatt Coleman, Hamidou Diallo and Quade Green all made the team. Syracuse has either offered or expressed interest in each of those four class of 2017 prospects.

The rest of the 12-man roster includes: Jarrett Allen, James Banks, Markelle Fultz, Kevin Huerter, Michael Porter Jr., M.J. Walker, P.J. Washington and Trae Young. 

Syracuse had recruited Banks, Huerter and Porter Jr. out of the remaining eight members of the team. Banks, a class of 2016 prospect, signed with Texas. Kevin Huerter, also a class of 2016 prospect, signed with Maryland, while Porter Jr. eliminated the Orange when he cut his list of schools to five.
