Syracuse football is set to host three prospects starting Thursday and over the subsequent couple of days.
Paul is a class of 2018 defensive back from Christ the King in Middle Village (N.Y.). He is visiting on Thursday. It will be his second visit to the Syracuse campus, but first time with the Dino Babers staff.
"I'm very excited," Paul said. "Can't wait to meet the new staff. I only know coach (Mike) Hart and coach (Nick) Monroe right now."
Paul is still looking for his first offer, but is in contact with several division one programs.
Three-star Syracuse pledge Allen Stritzinger, the lone running back in SU's 2017 class to date, will visit for the first time as a commit. Stritzinger committed just over a month ago.
"I love everything about Syracuse," he said after his decision.
Syracuse was the only school to recruiting Stritzinger strictly as a running back.
Aaron Hackett will visit this weekend. It will be the first time he sees the campus. He is one of Syracuse's top targets at tight end in the 2017 class. Hackett holds nearly two dozen offers, including from Wake Forest, Minnesota, Louisville, Kentucky, Iowa State and many others.
Hackett plays at Venice Senior High in Florida. His position coach is former Syracuse tight end Beckett Wales.
