Keirston Johnson Decommits from Syracuse

Linebacker Keirston Johnson has reopened his recruitment.

Keirston Johnson has announced that he is reopening his recruitment. He did so on Twitter Wednesday. Johnson previously committed in early July and visited weeks later.

The talented linebacker prospect did not immediately return a request for comment. However, Syracuse does have a loaded linebacker class in 2017. It is possible that Johnson wants to explore options where more immediate playing time may be available.

Syracuse's 2017 class now sits at 16, including linebackers Kadeem Trotter, Tyrell Richards and Nadarius Fagan.
