Brandon Randolph is a four-star shooting guard in the 2017 class who hails from Pennsylvania. Syracuse has been recruiting him for quite some time, and are among the schools pursuing the hardest. He has always been a priority for the Orange, but with Alex O'Connell committing to Duke recently, Randolph is even more important to Syracuse's class.
Now Jim Boeheim and company will get their chance to make a big push for the talented guard. Randolph is set to officially visit Syracuse this coming weekend, a source confirms to CuseNation.com. The news was first reported by Pat Lawless of MADEHoops.
Randolph is a 6-foot-5 shooting guard with elite range and outside shooting ability. He is a long, rangy athlete who seems to fit perfectly into the mold of Orange two-guards.
Getting him on campus is very important for Syracuse as they continue to pursue the Westtown School standout. Also of note, Randolph is an AAU teammate of Syracuse point guard target Quade Green. The Orange would love to add that backcourt combination to their roster for the 2017-18 season.
Randolph is also being pursued by Indiana, Kansas, Louisville, Marquette, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Arizona, Georgetown and Villanova among others.
