Syracuse football and basketball each have an important prospect on campus for an official visit this weekend. Both will check out the football between the Orange and Louisville Cardinals Friday night. Here's a look at each prospect, where their recruitment stands, and chances the player commits on the trip.
Tyran Hunt is arguably Syracuse's top offensive tackle prospect left on their board. Syracuse loves his size, athleticism and upside. Virginia, Virginia Tech and NC State may be the Orange's biggest competition. This official visit is huge because it gives them their shot to make a big impression.
To sell Hunt on the program, Dino Babers' style, the direction of the coaching staff, etc.

One of the top shooting guards in the 2017 class, Brandon Randolph has been a big priority for Syracuse for some time. He is the top uncommitted shooting guard on their board, and getting him on campus for an official is big.
Randolph is an elite shooter, long and rangy athlete, and skilled on both ends of the floor. Syracuse's biggest competition appears to be Villanova, Louisville and North Carolina. None may be making him a bigger priority than the Orange, however, where he also may have the best path to immediate playing time.
