Syracuse senior wide receiver Amba Etta-Tawo has certainly made a name for himself through three games of the 2016 season. The graduate transfer leads the ACC and is third in the nation in receiving yards per game at 145.3. He also is fourth in the country in receptions per game at 9.3.
On Tuesday, the accolades for his early season performance continued. Etta-Tawo was added to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List by the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation. The award is given to college football's most outstanding receiver. Cal's Chad Hansen was also added to the list.
Etta-Tawo has accumulated 436 yards on 28 catches with three touchdowns this season. The 436 yards are the most ever for a Syracuse player in a season's first three games.
The 10 semifinalists for the Belitnikoff Award are announced on November 14th. The list is trimmed to three on November 22nd, and the winner announced on December 8th.
