Syracuse Basketball Targets to Participate in USA Basketball Minicamp

See which Orange basketball targets will participate in the Junior National Team Minicamp next month.

USA basketball will have 56 of the best high school players in the country participating in their Junior National Team minicamp on October 8th and 9th, they announced on Thursday. Those 56 players feature several that the Syracuse Orange have targeted on the recruiting trail.

The group of 56 includes players in the 2017, 2018 and 2019 classes as USA basketball looks to create talented rosters for their U19, U18 and U16 squads. Here is the list of Syracuse targets that will participate.

2017 Class

Five-star point guard Quade Green will attend along with AAU teammate and friend Mohamed Bamba. Both were on campus for Syracuse's Elite Camp last month and both remain top targets for the Orange.

Another point guard with an offer, Matt Coleman, will also attend and participate.

Two more five-stars with Syracuse offers, Hamidou Diallo and Lonnie Walker, will also be there. Syracuse has visited both at their respective schools recently and continue to recruit both very hard.

2018 Class

Elite five-star point guard Cole Anthony does not have a Syracuse offer, but he is a big time in-state prospect who would consider the Orange should they get involved.

2019 Class

Rochester (N.Y.) McQuaid stud forward Isaiah Stewart will also attend. He does not have an offer from Syracuse yet, but is firmly on the radar. He may end up being one of the best in his class overall.
