Oshae Brissett certainly had his choice of options to play college basketball. The three-star power forward held over a dozen offers, but trimmed that list down to four on Friday. He set official visit dates to three of the four schools.
Brissett's list with visit dates includes Syracuse (10/22), Memphis (TBD), USC (2/20 - visit completed) and Oregon (10/29).
"I am extremely excited for the season and for what the future holds for Oshae," Athlete Institute Basketball Academy head coach Chris Cobbina said in a release. "He's a great kid with a terrific work ethic, who has embraced taking on a leadership role. There is no one more deserving of everything he has earned."
Syracuse met with Brissett earlier this month and continue to recruit him hard. The 6-foot-9 forward currently plays in Canada, where is a native of the country. He spent last season at Findlay Prep in Las Vegas.
Brissett is ranked as the 19th best power forward in the 2017 class. The Orange are still looking for their first commitment, but that could be on the horizon.
