Syracuse Basketball 2016-17 Season Predictions

The CuseNation.com staff predicts the regular season record of the Syracuse Orange.

Syracuse basketball has a talented roster mixed with experience and youth. How good can they be in the 2016-17 season? The CuseNation.com staff makes our predictions for their regular season record.

Mike McAllister: 25-6: Syracuse has everything you want in a big time team. They have depth, speed, size, length, shooting, etc. They can beat you in the half court, in transition, defensively, in a shoot out and on the boards. By the time the season ends, the Orange will be one of the best teams in college basketball.

Tyler Salladah: 24-7: I think the Orange will fair much better in ACC play than last season due to their depth and size. Their defense will be much better along with their shooting, which will give them an edge over teams that last year they did not respect them from outside as much.

Michelle Fenelon: 20-11: Syracuse shocked the college basketball world last season when it advanced the Final Four. Despite having virtually a new team, another Final Four run shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone now that Syracuse has more talent and plenty of depth.

Jackie Mundry: 20-11: They have a lot of fresh blood that is sure to do very well but a new team is always a little difficult to find the chemistry.

Aubrie Tolliver: 20-11: With one more win than last season, I expect the team to rack up at least 3-4 loses before they begin conference play and then finish somewhere around to 11-7 against ACC opponents.
