In just a matter of weeks, one of Syracuse football's top 2017 commits will be enrolled at the school. Three-star linebacker Nadarius Fagan signed his early admission and scholarship paperwork on Thursday, multiple sources told Scout.
Fagan will arrive at SU on January 13th with classes starting on the 17th.
Fagan committed to Syracuse in July over offers from Alabama, Louisville, LSU, Nebraska, USC and others. With length, speed and freakish athleticism, the 6-foot-3 linebacker has a lot of upside. He could see the field early in his Orange career.
The Miami Southridge standout took an official visit to Syracuse in November, where he was able to learn more about the program and bond with his future coaches. He declared after that trip that no other officials were necessary.
Fagan is not the only newcomer joining the program in January. Fellow class of 2017 members Patrick Davis, Ravian Pierce and Ryan Guthrie will start their Syracuse careers. Notre Dame graduate transfer defensive back Devin Butler will also arrive in January for his final year of eligibility.
Syracuse opens the 2017 season against Central Connecticut State on Saturday, September 2nd.
