Three-star Troy (N.Y.) Redemption Christian wing Chris Duarte visited Syracuse basketball on Saturday according to multiple sources. The visit makes sense as the Orange needs guards and wings to fill out their 2017 class. With immediate playing time available, it should be attractive to talented prospects.
Duarte is a former Scout-100 prospect, entering the top 100 back in February of last year. His recruitment has been a bit slow, however, as he battles back from injury.
The mutual interest makes sense. Syracuse is a high major program and Duarte a talented recruit at a position of need. No offer has been extended as of yet, but keep an eye on Duarte moving forward.
Duarte watched Syracuse beat Pittsburgh 77-66 inside the Carrier Dome.
