National Signing Day is right around the corner, and the most high profile commit in Syracuse's 2017 class is set to receive even more publicity. Quarterback Tommy DeVito will appear on ESPNU's Signing Day Special along with a few other top recruits. DeVito will appear in ESPN's Bristol studio and is set to sign his National Letter of Intent on television between 1:30pm and 2:00pm Eastern.
DeVito has received a lot of national attention since becoming one of the cycle's hottest prospects over the summer when he made the Elite 11 finals and The Opening finals. He made the all 7-on-7 team at The Opening finals as well.
The three-star quarterback committed to the Orange in April. After showing off his skills during the summer camp circuit, he received offers from Texas A&M, Ole Miss and Washington State. DeVito declined each, electing to stick with Syracuse.
In addition to appearing on ESPNU, DeVito will take over the "syracusedotcom" Snapchat account, where he will take fans behind the scenes of his National Signing Day and ESPN experience.
Syracuse currently stands at 22 commitments in the 2017 class with National Signing Day just days away. They have their final official weekend prior to the big day this weekend.
