Syracuse Offers Three 2018 Quarterbacks

Syracuse has extended offers to three talented quarterbacks in the 2018 class. Details inside.

Syracuse landed a big quarterback signee in Tommy DeVito in the 2017 class, and now they are after some more top talent at the position in the 2018 cycle. On Wednesday, the Orange dished out offers to three intriguing prospects.

Cameron Rising is a four-star quarterback who is ranked No. 51 overall in the 2018 class and rated as the fifth best at his position. He is a California kid who is currently committed to Oklahoma. It may be difficult to pry him from the Sooners or the West Coast, but the Dino Babers offense is attractive to any quarterback.

A three-star Lone Star State product, Tanner Mordecai already boasts an impressive offer list with Baylor, Ole Miss, Missouri, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech extending scholarship opportunities, among others. Syracuse has entered their hat into the mix for the 6-foot-2 signal caller.

Chance Amie is a very interesting prospect. He is a superb athlete and electric with the ball in his hands. He may be a bit more raw than the other two who picked up offers, but has tremendous upside both as an athlete and passer. It remains to be seen if schools are looking at him as a quarterback or someone who could transition into another position. Amie also has offers from Iowa State and Bowling Green. He recently won QB MVP at Next Level Athlete Showcase in Dallas (Tx.).
