Top Targets

Joe Milton is an extremely athletic quarterback who has tremendous upside. He already boasts an impressive offer list, including the Orange. Syracuse covets his talent, but the key is getting him on campus. He picked up an offer from Miami recently, and they may be tough to beat.

Quincy Patterson has blown up since Syracuse extended an early offer. He now holds Mississippi State, Penn State and several others. Still, Syracuse will get a shot here and continues to recruit him hard. A spring or summer visit will be important.

Can Syracuse make it two years in a row for a highly touted quarterback from New Jersey? Devin Leary has offers from all over the country and in several power five conferences. He will certainly have his pick of where he wants to go. The Orange communicate with him regularly and will look to get a visit soon.

Offerees to Watch

Kevin Doyle is from the Washington (D.C.) area, a region Syracuse is trying to make a consistent pipeline once again. Doyle has a great frame at 6-foot-4, and is already on the radar of several power five programs. If the Orange make a push, they've got as good of a shot as anyone.

Another Garden State product, Johnny Langan plays at Bergen Catholic, who always seems to have a good squad. Langan has a nice frame, has a solid arm and moves better than people think. He is almost a DeVito type in that he plays for a well known program and is somewhat under the radar right now. Rutgers may be Syracuse's biggest threat here.

A relatively new offeree, Tanner Mordecai would likely be a Baylor lock if not for all of the off the field issues there. Dino Babers' offense has to be appealing, and it would be quite the story if he plucked a talented quarterback from his old stomping grounds.

Others to Monitor

Some prospects without an offer that Syracuse fans should keep an eye on this cycle.

Tadas Tatarunas has visited Syracuse twice, including attending a camp. He has a strong relationship with the coaching staff, and will likely camp again this summer. A strong showing could result in an offer.

Braeden Zenelovic performed well at a camp last summer and is on the Syracuse radar. It is unclear if an offer will come, but Zenelovic can sling it and will be one to watch. Expect him to camp again this year.

Another in-state prospect, Matt Myers has a nice frame and arm. Myers could also earn an offer if he has a strong showing at a camp over the summer.

Way Too Early Prediction

Syracuse snags one of their top targets at quarterback and one of their secondary options. Let's go with Quincy Patterson and Johnny Langan.
