2017 JUCO DE Josh Allen Signs with Syracuse

Syracuse has added defensive line depth to their roster for next season.

Class of 2017 junior college defensive end Josh Allen announced he has committed to and signed with Syracuse on Monday. He took an official visit this past weekend, per a source.

Allen attended Long Beach City College the past three seasons, redshirting one. He committed to and signed with Arizona after two years at the JUCO level, but did not enroll after failing to qualify according to multiple reports. He returned to LBCC for his redshirt sophomore season.

He has two years to use up his final two years of eligibility.

Allen was actually offered by the previous Syracuse staff back in November of 2015, but picked the Wildcats over the Orange and many other suitors.

Listed at 6-foot-4, 260-pounds, Allen provides much needed depth along the Orange defensive line.
