This is Boston College's first game since announcing Sunday that they will leave the Big East to join the ACC.

Anderson extended his streak of throws without an interception to 144, breaking Donovan McNabb's school record of 133. BC running back Derrick Knight currently leads the nation in rushing, averaging 147.67 yards per game. SU running back Walter Reyes is third in the nation with 144.20 yards a contest.

Defensive Scouting Report: With both teams possessing explosive running backs, it will be a battle of the front seven's for both teams. Whichever team can put a stop to the opponent's running game may be crowned the winner. Syracuse has allowed 171 rushing yards a game, while BC has allowed just 119 yards a game.

Notes and Quotes: Syracuse players and coaches have said all week that Boston College's decision to leave the Big East will have no effect on Saturday's game. Paul Pasqualoni: "It is not going to have impact. It will have no impact on the game at all. We are going to get ready to play Boston College the way Syracuse has for a lot of years. I'm sure they're going to get ready to play us."
