Ray's football coach Lou DiRienzo thinks he will be one of the best players in New York State next year.

"I don't think there is any question Ray Rice will be the best player in the Westchester-Rockland county area and one of the best in New York State next year."

So far Syracuse, Connecticut, and Rutgers are the schools showing the most interest in Ray right now. Ray is 5-foot-8, 190-pound RB/DB that ran for 1,332 yards and 11 touchdowns this season. He rushed for 167 yards and 2 touchdowns in New Rochelle's 32-6 victory over Webster Schroeder in the New York State AA football championship.
