Another signed letter came in this evening, following head coach Paul Pasqualoni 's press conference. Long snapper Joe Neumann from Blinn College is SU's latest addition to the recruiting class of 2004.<br><br>

With Neumann, 29 players have signed National Letters of Intent. They join quarterback Joe Fields, offensive tackle Kurt Falke and defensive tackle Mike Sklarosky who enrolled at Syracuse in January and are attending class and participating in winter workouts. The total class that Syracuse has brought in his 32 players, the largest during Pasqualoni's 14 years on the hill.

"This is a large class, " Pasqualoni said. "We had a large senior class. We felt we had needs in specific areas. We went after that."

Long snapper Dave DeAmato has graduated and Neumann will challenge for the long snapping duties . At Blinn College, Neumann had 93 snaps in tow season. He led the punt team during his career with 15 solo tackles and six assisted stops. Falke also attended Blinn College.
