Will Syracuse Offer Bruising Forward Harris?

Paul Harris, a 6-foot-5, 215-pound forward/guard from Niagara Falls High School in Niagara Falls, New York, continues to receive more offers from division one schools across the country.

Harris already has an offer from Big East powerhouse Pittsburgh. In addition, St. Bonaventure has offered and now Ohio University has extended a free ride.

Harris had a terrific NIKE Memorial Day tournament, according to our reporter on the scene, Russ Blake. Harris was especially good in an overtime game against the New York Gauchos. Unfortunately for the Albany City Rocks, Harris' team, Jim Hart's squad coughed up a 20-plus point lead as many players fouled out. Harris fouled out with 12 minutes left in regulation.

The college coaches love Harris' style of play. Physical contact is what Harris desires. He draws fouls, beats up people inside with his strength, and is fearless around the basket.

St. John's and Syracuse have also been mentioned by Harris as being of interest to him. Neither school has yet to offer Harris, according to Hart.
