Harris has been touted as one of the rising talents in the class of 2006. He was very impressive at this past weekend's Rumble in the Bronx at Fordham University.
Harris spearheaded the GC Ballers' overtime win over the New York Gauchos in pool play, scoring 20 points. Harris had two crucial steals in the last minute and a half of overtime, and orchestrated the game-winning play as time expired.
With 15 seconds to play in overtime and the game tied at 64, Harris dribbled the ball up the floor, guarded by the Gauchos' Saiquon Stone. As he neared the top of the key, he broke left and zipped a pass against his body to a cutting Rodney Pierce, who laid the ball in as time expired for a dramatic win.
