Syracuse one of top choices for P.J. Hill

Brooklyn Poly Prep Head Football coach Craig Jacoby says there are three schools in the running for his star running back P.J. Hill.

"I would say that Syracuse, Wisconsin, and Indiana are the three main schools that P.J. is interested in. All three have offered him."

Coach Jacoby went on to say that this summer P.J. made unofficial visits to Syracuse and Indiana but has yet to visit Wisconsin.

"P.J. and his dad really liked Syracuse when they visited there about two weeks ago. P.J. didn't really know much about Syracuse before the visit but now he really likes Syracuse. Indiana has always been there because Poly Prep has a lot of kids that play there and former Poly Prep head coach Dino Mangiero is a assistant coach there."

When I asked Coach Jacoby when Hill will make a decision on college, he responded by saying, "P.J. would like to make official visits to all three schools before making a decision but very well could make a decision sometime during the season. He definitely wants to at least visit Wisconsin officially."

Look for the three way battle for P.J. Hill to heat up in the next month or two.

P.J. Hill is a 6-foot-0, 215-pound RB that made First Team All-NYC and First Team All-Brooklyn in 2003. As a junior, P.J. ran for 1,520 yards and 20 touchdowns. He is widely considered to be one of the top 15 football players in NYS in 2005.
