Central NY WR starting to get offers

Christian Brothers Academy Football (Syracuse, NY) Coach Joe Casamento knew it was just a matter of time before D1 schools would start offering one of his star wide receivers Bruce Williams.

"Out of all the great players we have on our team Bruce is the most valuable. He is the guy we go to on offense to make the big catches when we need them and he makes all the calls for the defense when he is a defensive back. He is the one guy we can't afford to lose. Bruce is the most valuable player on this team."

Mid-major Division 1 schools have started to realize Bruce's talent and the offers are now starting to pour in.

"Right now he has offers from University at Buffalo, Ohio University, Bowling Green, and pretty much every school in the MAC conference." The bigger name D1 schools are starting to take notice of Bruce as well.

"Rutgers, Duke, Syracuse, and Alabama are coming in this week to look at some more tape on Bruce. I think there is a good chance he will get some offers out of those schools. He is too good not get more offers."

Bruce is already off to a great start this season. CBA is undefeated and Bruce has caught 6 touchdown passes in 3 three games.

"Bruce is off to great start again this season, in games against Baldwinsville and West Genesee he had two highlight reel catches that both went for touchdowns. In my mind he is the premier possession receiver in the state."

Bruce Williams is a 5-foot-11; 180-pound WR that made 2nd team All-State and 1st team All-Central New York in 2003. Williams also caught 57 passes for 924 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2003.
