Good-bye orange and blue trim. Good-bye basketball logo with a surrounding "S." Good-bye to the threads that brought us a national championship in 2003. Good-bye Orangemen.
Hello new logo. Hello Orange.
Newly designed uniforms will grace the backs of Syracuse this year, a team many experts consider to be a contender for a second national title in three years.
In an effort to consolidate the brand name and image of all Syracuse sports comes a redesigned uniform and logo.
"The logo - we really miss the logo. I don't know, it just looks kind of different," said senior forward Hakim Warrick. "I don't like the numbers, the trim - I think it's really missing the trim. It's really hurting not having that trim there."
