McNamara keys late run; Orange top Pride

Hakim Warrick scored 29 points and Terrence Roberts added a career-high 20 as No. 8 Syracuse handed Hofstra its first loss of the season, 80-75, Thursday night.

It was a highly contested game throughout and Syracuse trailed for most of it. It wasn't until a late 15-4 surge put the Orange up by nine and in control. McNamara, who led the run, finished with 17 points and six assists.

Antoine Agudio had 17 points to lead the Pride.
