Courtney Greene still on Syracuse's radar

Courtney Greene does have an offer to play football at Syracuse University with one condition, according to New Rochelle (New Rochelle, NY) Assistant Football.

"Syracuse still has an offer out to Courtney but the new staff just wants to see one more tape on him. Courtney still has to take more classes at Bridgton Prep to be eligible in the fall, so it will be a little while before he is fully qualified." Coach Rhett also said the new coaching change at Syracuse will not effect Courtney.

"Courtney just wants to play he is not worried about the coaching situation. If Syracuse remains committed to him, Courtney will be going to Syracuse." Coach Rhett also said that schools like Clemson and UConn are showing strong interest in him and could be close to offering him.

Courtney Greene is a 6-foot-1, 190-pound RB/DB that was named Fourth Team All-State and First Team All-Westchester County in 2003. As a running back, he ran for 1,008 yards and 17 touchdowns. Greene also led the 2003 NYS Class AA champion's New Rochelle in tackles and interceptions as a defensive back. Greene did not qualify academically after high school and prepped at Bridgton Academy this past season .
