Tanner not sure after Pasqualoni firing

Is the Head Football coaching change at Syracuse University going to change Junior College All American Jason Tanner's decision to come to Syracuse?

"Right now it might," according to SUNY Morrisville head football coach Terry Dow. "Jason plans on taking two official visits in the next two weeks to see what is out there."

"With Coach Pasqualoni gone and Coach Littlejohn most likely gone he is not sure what he wants to do now. Nobody on the new staff has contacted him yet. He is not eliminating Syracuse by any means but needs to find out if there is going to be a new DB coach and if there is he wants to meet him. If he talks to the new staff and likes them, I don't see why he won't stick with Syracuse though. There is just a lot of unknowns right now and that is why he is taking visits."

Coach Dow wouldn't say where Tanner is going to visit in the next two weeks but said he doesn't want to go to far away from home.

"Jason is from Fulton, NY which is about 30 minutes away from Syracuse so that will definitely help them."

Jason Tanner is a 6-foot-1, 210-pound Defensive Back that made 1st team Junior College All-American as a freshman at SUNY Morrisville. As a sophomore, Tanner recorded 20 tackles, three interceptions, and 10 pass breakups. As a freshman, Tanner recorded 42 tackles and eight interceptions. He will have 3 years to play two when he picks a college. Tanner is projected to be a Cornerback at the Division 1 level.
