"He's a good guy and he's got a real positive outlook on everything," said senior tight end Joe Kowalewski. "He has a really good energy and presence about him."
Senior free safety Anthony Smith echoed Kowalewski's thoughts.
"He is bringing in a lot of high-energy people and he expects us to respond in a similar manner," said Smith. "We should be the same way and have a lot of intensity, be really enthusiastic and just run around with a lot of energy and have fun."
Some of that high energy was on display during halftime of the Syracuse basketball game Tuesday night. Coach Robinson and his wife were introduced to the crowd during halftime. Robinson took the microphone and proclaimed, "I want to be here as long as Coach Boeheim has been and get as many wins as Coach Boeheim, too."
Coach Robinson drew a loud ovation from the crowd.
