Robinson meets with Lobdell

Syracuse University head football coach Greg Robinson was in Lavar Lobdell's home for a visit yesterday according to Christian Brothers Academy head football coach Joe Casamento.

"Coach Robinson had an in-home visit with Lavar and his family yesterday. I was supposed to be there but I had a prior engagement and could not make it. I haven't talked to Lavar yet about how the visit went. I plan on meeting with Coach Robinson later this week to talk to him about Lavar."

Lobdell just got back from visiting North Carolina State this past weekend and according to Coach Casamento that visit went well. Lavar plans on visiting Miami this upcoming weekend and Florida the next.

"Florida was at our school today visiting Lavar. They were with him a couple of hours."

Lavar has already visited West Virginia and they have been rumored to be his leader. Is there any chance that Syracuse can sneak back in contention for Lavar?

"I am not sure, I haven't talked to Lavar about how his in-home visit yet, it is late in the game though. It will be tough to beat out Miami, North Carolina State, West Virginia, and Florida but you never know."

Lavar Lobdell is a 6-foot-3, 190-pound WR that made 1st team All-State and All-CNY in 2004. Lavar had 38 catches for 733 yards and 21 touchdowns during his senior year. Lobdell is widely recognized as one of the top ten football players in New York State.
