Bruce Williams update

Does the fastest rising football prospect in New York State have a leader at this point?

"Right now Bruce doesn't really have a leader," says CBA Head Football Coach Joe Casamento.

"He has one or maybe two more visits to make and then he will make a decision. He just got back visiting North Carolina State this past weekend with Lavar Lobdell and liked it. He plans on visiting Rutgers this weekend with teammate Brian Bojko. He is not sure if he will take another visit after that but won't make a decision until signing day."

Williams has already officially visited West Virginia in December and those three schools make up his top three right now. All three schools have offered Bruce scholarships. Are there any schools besides West Virginia, Rutgers, and North Carolina State that are trying to get involved with him at this point?

"Syracuse called and want to see tape on Bruce. I am meeting with Coach Robinson this week so we will see what happens."

Bruce Williams is a 5-foot-11; 190-pound WR that made 1st team All-State and 1st team All-Central New York in 2004. Williams caught 103 passes for 1546 yards and 28 touchdowns this past season. As a defensive back, he had 67 tackles and 8 interceptions. Williams is widely recognized as one of the top 15 football players in New York State.
