In October, Ianzito said his preference was football, but in mid-November, Ianzito changed his mind.
"He really felt more passionate about lacrosse than football," his mother, Sharon, said. "It was a tough decision, but he felt he'd enjoy lacrosse even more."
Ianzito has gotten a wide range of offers for lacrosse, but has narrowed his decision down to Stony Brook, LeMoyne, Albany and Cortland. The latter is his leader right now. Ianzito is expected to announce next week where he will attend.
As a junior, Ianzito was named First team All-League and Second team All-CNY after scoring 56 points.
A top Wide Receiver prospect in Central New York, Justin Ianzito is a 6-foot-1, 193-pound WR that made 1st team All-CNY last season. He had an offer from Buffalo to play football.
